Antique Wooden Blanket Chest/box
A beautiful large antique storage box, that would make an excellent coffee table, TV stand or any room extra storage is needed.
It is a very solid piece in lovely condition. The exterior. The box is in its original brown varnished finish with lots of wear giving it a lovely patina. Two large hinges hold the top on, which at some moment in time has been replaced, but this does not detract from the piece and blends in beautifully.
Original Metal handles on each side. The interior has lots of storage space inside, to the left hand side there are 2 drawers, one shallow shelf to the top and one larger one on the bottom, it also has a hidden drawer.. pull up the side of the top shelf to revel it.
Natural wood interior which is clean and tidy for its age.
