This stunning antique library table/desk, crafted from rich mahogany and leather, is a fine example of traditional British craftsmanship. Made by the esteemed London makers Miles & Edwards of Oxford Street London c1840, it blends classic design with sturdy construction. Due to it age this beautiful desk does have age relayed wear & tear, the leather is worn with marks and splits, there are a few pieces of moulding missing from the back of the desk and one of the original handles has a small piece missing, these things are easily restored if you prefer the piece as in new condition, here at tweak though we love it just how it is showing its history and charm and non of which detracts from its purpose as a useable desk.
It has its original round handles on the two drawers, The legs are beautifully carved with no breakages and finished off with original brass casters.
